Iran lauds the Palestinians’ unparalleled triumph in compelling terrorist ‘israel’ to concede

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has lauded the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for what he described as an "unparalleled victory" against the Israeli government. Araghchi's comments come as the region has endured an intense and protracted conflict over the last 15 months, with Israel's actions facing accusations of attempting to eradicate the population in the besieged coastal enclave.

During a phone conversation on Saturday, the lead diplomat expressed his views to Ziad al-Nakhala, the Secretary-General of Gaza’s Islamic Jihad resistance movement.

According to sources, the regime’s recent decision to agree to a ceasefire with Gaza’s resistance groups is attributed to what some observers describe as the Palestinians’ successful display of resistance.

The Israeli security cabinet has officially endorsed a ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and the Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza as of Friday.

The cabinet has granted its approval to the agreement, setting the stage for its possible ratification by the entire governing body, which gave its consent to the deal on Saturday.

Following its potential commencement on Sunday, the plan for the phased implementation of the agreement is set to start with a six-week ceasefire. This development could potentially put an end to the intense military offensive, which has thus far resulted in the deaths of at least 46,788 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.

The Gaza-based resistance group Hamas has endorsed the agreement, praising Palestinian fighters and civilians for successfully countering the regime’s aggression and causing it to fall short of its wartime objectives.

Araghchi emphasized the Islamic Republic’s “steadfast and consistent stance” in supporting the Palestinian struggle for liberation from Israeli occupation and aggression. He reaffirmed the Palestinians’ legitimate right to resist Zionist forces.

Nakhala presented Araghchi with a detailed report outlining the most recent developments on the ground in Palestinian territories.

He also conveyed appreciation to Tehran for its “courageous positions and instances of backing.”

A resistance official has emphasized the unwavering commitment of the Palestinian people to continue their determined efforts to restore their human and legal rights and to achieve the objective of self-determination.
