Iran President extended his congratulations to the people of Gaza, lauding their triumph and commending their resilient resistance

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has extended his congratulations to the residents of the Gaza Strip, praising their resilience and perceived triumph following a 15-month-long conflict with Israel, which he described as a genocidal campaign by the Israeli regime.

During a meeting on Monday, the chief executive lauded the resilience of the people of Gaza and Palestine, extending congratulations on their recent victory. He praised their steadfastness and dignity in standing up to Israel, recognizing it as a significant achievement.

“He noted that these resilient individuals have set an example for other nations on how to confront terrorism.”

The statements followed the initial implementation phase of a ceasefire agreement between the government and the Gaza-based resistance group Hamas. The deal was reached after the government agreed to terms amid relentless and effective operations conducted by resistance groups within the territory.

The president described the acts carried out by the regime and its allies within the confined region of Gaza, resulting in the deaths of approximately 47,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, as “an instance of terrorism.”

“In the meantime, Tel Aviv and its allies have accused us of ‘supporting terrorism,’ he remarked.”

Pezeshkian has highlighted Iran as a nation affected by terrorism, pointing out that adversaries have targeted and killed numerous Iranian citizens, including officials, prominent figures, and intellectuals, since the Islamic Revolution’s success. He asserts that these acts are attempts to hinder the Revolution’s establishment and progress.

In a related statement, he extended his condolences following the recent assassination of two Supreme Court judges in the country. He remarked, “The martyrdom of these esteemed individuals stands as evidence that the Islamic Republic of Iran and its Revolution continue to fall victim to acts of terror.”

Pezeshkian remarked that adversaries believe they have the ability to disable us.

He further stated that with the backing of the populace, they remain unstoppable and emphasized that the authorities must embrace an inclusive strategy and fulfill their promises to the nation.
