Hamas releases footage purportedly showing the elimination of Israeli troops linked to the assassination of Yahya Sinwar
The Al-Qassam Brigade, the military arm of the Hamas resistance movement, has unveiled new footage capturing the moment its fighters reportedly killed two senior Israeli military officials responsible for the assassination of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

A newly released video, referred to as the “Death Ambush Series,” is reportedly the initial installment of a sequence planned for future release by the group.
A segment of the video, reportedly from January 6, captures the fatal incident involving a senior Israeli commander, his deputy, and several Israeli soldiers who were killed by an explosive device in Beit Hanoun, a city in the northern region.
The targeted individuals were Major Dvir Zion Revah and his deputy, Eitan Israel Shiknazi, whom the group accuses of orchestrating the assassination of Sinwar.
The video footage pertains to the period leading up to the implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza on January 19.
According to reports from the Brigade, Raveh has been implicated in leading at least one of the regime’s massacres in Beit Hanoun.
The assassination and massacre occurred amidst a 15-month campaign by the regime, characterized as a war of genocide against the Palestinian territory. Since the conflict began in October 2023, it has resulted in the deaths of at least 47,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.
Tel Aviv consented to a ceasefire agreement earlier this month, following persistent and effective resistance operations by Palestinian groups and regional actors.
A video report indicates that the strike in Beit Hanoun has left multiple Israeli troops injured.
Hamas has reported conducting a comparable operation targeting an Israeli infantry force progressing through the al-Zaytoun area of Beit Hanoun, resulting in casualties.
The Israeli Defense Forces confirmed the passing of the deputy commander of the Nahal Brigade and four soldiers, following enemy reports. Additionally, nine soldiers sustained serious injuries.
Hamas and allied resistance groups, both from within the region and domestically, have pledged to intensify their operations if the regime escalates its military offensive.
