The Hamas organization has commended a recent counterattack in the occupied West Bank, which resulted in the fatalities of two Israeli soldiers.

In a statement released on Tuesday, a Palestinian resistance organization asserted that Israel’s actions in the West Bank would be met with consequences.

Earlier today, a shooting incident occurred in the vicinity of the village of Tayasir, located to the east of the city of Tubas, resulting in the deaths of two Israeli soldiers. Six additional soldiers sustained injuries, with two reported to be in critical condition.

In the Jordan Valley, an attack unfolded at a checkpoint amidst rising tensions in the region, following a series of lethal Israeli operations in Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, and other areas of the West Bank.

Hamas has asserted that these actions will not diminish the determination of the Palestinian population.

United Nations experts have raised concerns that Israel may be broadening its efforts, which have been characterized as genocide and ethnic cleansing, from Gaza to the West Bank.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the Palestinian Foreign Ministry, civilians are reportedly facing forced displacement under armed coercion, while explosives are being used to demolish entire neighborhoods.

The ministry has characterized Israel’s military operations in the West Bank as an integral component of its strategy to annex the territory for the purpose of settlement expansion. The ministry further condemned these actions as a “blatant breach of international law, international humanitarian law, and the Geneva Conventions.”
