Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, held talks with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf. The meeting, attended by Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, focused on significant developments across local, regional, and international spheres.
Following the funeral of Hezbollah’s former secretaries-general, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, which was held in Beirut last Sunday, several key figures, including Araghchi, Qalibaf, and Amani, demonstrated their support for the organization by attending the memorial. The gathering underscored the continued solidarity with Hezbollah.
At the funeral, Sheikh Qassem delivered a speech affirming his commitment to continuing the legacy of Sayyed Nasrallah. He emphasized that “resistance serves as the cornerstone and will persist as a viable option as long as the occupation endures.”
