An image has surfaced depicting the remnants of a speech authored by the late Sayyed Hashem Safeiddine, following his election as the successor to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah.

The following is the transcript of the speech:

The figure of the Prophet Muhammad serves as an exemplary model for those who hold hope in Allah and the Day of Judgment, and who frequently remember Allah, according to the message conveyed in the sacred texts.

In a significant development, believers reportedly expressed their recognition of the unfolding events as the fulfillment of divine and prophetic promises. Upon witnessing the formation of the enemy alliance, adherents declared, “This is precisely what Allah and His Messenger had foretold. The assurance from Allah and His Messenger has been realized.” This revelation is said to have bolstered their faith and commitment to their religious beliefs.

In the context of faith and devotion, there are individuals who have remained steadfast in their commitments to Allah. Some have already honored their vows with their lives, while others await the opportunity to do so. Notably, they have not wavered in their dedication at any point. (Al-Ahzab, 21-23)

The state extends its deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives and expresses sympathy for the injured in the wake of the recent Israeli actions against our nation. Prayers are offered for strength and patience for all affected during this difficult time.

In a message directed to the citizens of Lebanon as well as to the peoples of Arab and Muslim nations, an appeal was made to all freedom-loving individuals worldwide who stand against oppression and resist tyranny.

Reports indicate a growing sense of sorrow and mourning as violent incidents perpetrated by Israeli forces continue to impact communities across the region. These acts, reportedly unfolding with United States backing and a noticeable lack of international response, have been a persistent occurrence over the past year, targeting not only the civilian population of Gaza but also Palestinians broadly, extending as far as Lebanon. Observers note that these events have sparked widespread condemnation and concern.

The organization has expressed profound sorrow and mourning for the passing of Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, whom they regarded as a visionary leader and source of immense inspiration. Under his command, the resistance has claimed remarkable victories and achieved significant milestones that are hailed for their lasting impact. His leadership was characterized by wisdom and courage, deeply rooted in his unwavering faith, sincerity, and readiness for personal sacrifice for the cause he championed. His dedication to the cause was shared by his followers, as well as the families of martyrs and the wounded.

Sayyed Safeiddine was scheduled to deliver a speech on the day he was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Mraijeh area of Dahiyeh, Beirut’s southern suburb, on October 4. This occurred a week after significant strikes that resulted in the death of Sayyed Nasrallah.

In a massive funeral held last Sunday at Beirut’s Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium, a multitude comprising hundreds of thousands of individuals, along with prominent figures and activists from around the globe, gathered to pay their final respects to the Hezbollah secretary general.
