Israeli jets conduct several strikes in southern Syria

Media reports from Syria reported on Thursday afternoon a series of airstrikes by the Israeli regime’s fighter jets on an area in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Associated Press reported that the airstrikes targeted the outskirts of Damascus and the allged home of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Ziad al-Nakhaleh.
An Islamic Jihad member Ismail Sindak told AP that the apartment has been empty for years, adding that Nakhaleh is not in Syria. Asked whether anyone was killed in the strike, Sindak says “the house was empty.”
