Zionist enemy conducted targeted killings of five senior Hamas officials, along with their families, in Gaza
The Palestinian resistance group Hamas reported on Tuesday that several of its high-ranking officials were assassinated following direct military targeting by Israeli forces.

The tenuous ceasefire in Gaza was abruptly disrupted early Tuesday when Israeli military forces conducted a series of lethal airstrikes throughout the Palestinian territory. These strikes resulted in the deaths of over 400 Palestinians, including numerous children.
In a recent statement, the resistance group announced that several government and emergency committee leaders were killed in the Gaza Strip due to an unexpected and aggressive military action in the early hours of the morning.
“These leaders and their families were killed in targeted airstrikes conducted by aircraft from the Israeli military.”
Hamas has reported that among those killed are Essam al-Dali, the leader of the Hamas government, Mahmud Abu Watfa, the head of the interior ministry, and Bahjat Abu Sultan, director-general of the internal security service.
Hamas asserts that these leaders played a pivotal role in administering aid, safeguarding against internal threats and collaborators with the Israeli authorities, maintaining the security of Palestinians, and upholding justice and social unity during challenging times.
Reports indicate that targeted killings are being executed with the aim of inciting chaos, fostering famine, and fueling internal conflict.
In an independent announcement, the Gaza Government Media Office reported that two senior police officers were killed in targeted attacks.
The statement highlighted that these leaders have been unwavering in their efforts since the onset of the genocidal conflict, working relentlessly to mitigate the hardships faced by their communities and demonstrating commitment and selflessness in carrying out their duties.
Hamas reaffirmed its commitment to steadfast resistance, pledging solidarity with the nation against ongoing aggressive actions.
