Al-Jaafari: countries which support terrorism foiled efforts to combat ISIL

Syria’s permanent Envoy to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari said Wednesday that a number of countries which support terrorism have foiled any international, joint efforts to combat the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (Isis) terrorist organization.
Al-Jaafari added at a UN Security Council session on “the danger of terrorism” that the Council has not taken any step against governments that sponsor terrorism according to its two latest resolutions.
“Syria aspires for a UN effective role to put an end to the countries which support Isis terrorist organization.
