Abu Obeida, Zionist Forces conducted repeated bombings targeting captives with the apparent intent of ensuring fatalities

A spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades has claimed that they possess intelligence indicating that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) intentionally and repeatedly targeted a location where captives were being held, fully aware of their presence inside.

In a recent statement, Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades, alleged that the Israeli military has consistently and intentionally targeted a site where Israeli captives were detained.

In a recent Telegram post, he reported that the occupying forces had launched multiple strikes on a location housing enemy captives, with the aim of ensuring their deaths. He emphasized that the Resistance group possesses intelligence indicating the adversary intentionally targeted the site to eliminate both the captives and their guards.

A spokesperson has reported that the al-Qassam Brigades initiated a search and rescue mission to locate and recover survivors. Unfortunately, during the operation, only one individual was successfully retrieved, but the spokesperson noted that the individual’s fate is currently uncertain.

Shortly after Abu Obeida’s online statement, the al-Qassam Brigades disseminated a video titled “Netanyahu and Halevi are attempting to extricate their captives in Gaza by any means necessary.”

The video footage depicts a detained individual, bearing visible injuries, attempting to navigate through debris likely resulting from the recent bombing referenced by Abu Obeida in his social media post.

In early December, the military media arm of the al-Qassam Brigades, affiliated with the Hamas Resistance movement, published a video on December 7 featuring an Israeli captive in Gaza. The individual, appearing in the footage, directed a message to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling for the urgent formation of a prisoner exchange agreement.

As of the video’s release, Matan Zangauker had been detained in Gaza for 420 days, enduring an increasingly dire situation and declining health. He expressed grave concerns for his and his fellow detainees’ safety amid Israel’s relentless attacks on the region.

In the video, Zangauker directly confronts Prime Minister Netanyahu, alleging that he has let down the captives and made critical errors, the consequences of which are being borne by those in captivity.

He expressed a gradual decline in his health, stating, “I am dying little by little, and every part of me dies.” He detailed living conditions marked by scarce food supplies, undrinkable water, and limited access to medicine. The absence of proper hygiene, he noted, has contributed to skin diseases and irritation, exacerbating their deteriorating health.

An Israeli captive has criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging settlers to protest against the government’s handling of captured individuals. The captive accused Netanyahu of neglecting their situation and endangering lives by encouraging public demonstrations. In a direct statement, the captive suggested that “[Netanyahu] and his family suffering like us is more like it.”

According to reports from Israeli media, Hamas has released a video following Israel’s proposal of a partial agreement that would result in some captives, including military personnel, remaining detained.

In a statement released late last month, the al-Qassam Brigades, the militant arm of Hamas, reported the death of an Israeli detainee who had been held in northern Gaza.

Abu Obeida, a spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that an Israeli captive has perished as a result of Israeli airstrikes. He also issued a strong warning to Israeli authorities concerning the potential consequences for other captives amidst the ongoing hostilities.

Abu Obeida has announced that the opposing forces should be ready to confront the challenge of missing dead prisoners’ bodies. He attributed this situation to the significant devastation resulting from Israeli military actions and the deaths of Palestinian captives.

Abu Obeida announced that contact has been restored with the al-Qassam fighters responsible for safeguarding captives. He disclosed that a female captive has been killed in a region experiencing intense Israeli military action, while another captive remains in grave danger.

In a recent statement, Abu Obeida announced the reestablishment of communications with fighters responsible for securing enemy prisoners, which had been interrupted for several weeks. It has been revealed that a female prisoner from the opposing side lost her life in an area experiencing Zionist hostilities in the northern Gaza Strip. Concerns remain for the safety of another female prisoner who was with her, as threats to her life persist.
