A number of unidentified aircraft have been witnessed bringing weapons for the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group in northern Iraq.

The aircraft were seen touching down in the country’s Nineveh Province on Sunday.

According to eyewitnesses, consignments of medium and light weaponry, which had been on board the aircraft, were delivered to the terrorist group.

A YouTube video uploaded in October showed ISIL militants in possession of US weapons. It showed masked terrorists inspecting the military equipment, which was airdropped in areas controlled by ISIL near the Syrian border town of Kobani.

The Pentagon admitted later that ISIL terrorists had captured a bundle of US weapons airdropped in Kobani.

Army Colonel Steve Warren, a Pentagon spokesman, said, “There’s always going to be some margin of error” when airdropping supplies, adding, “Wind can cause a parachute to move off its intended target.”

The ISIL terrorists control some parts of Syria and Iraq. They are engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control.

Since late September, the US and its allies have been conducting airstrikes against the ISIL inside Syria without any authorization from Damascus or a UN mandate.

Washington has been also carrying out similar air raids against ISIL positions in Iraq since August. However, the raids have so far failed to dislodge the ISIL.
