Al-Qassam Brigades: Israeli enemy will pay heavy price
Spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing, Abu Obeida affirmed that the “Israeli enemy will pay, willingly or not, a heavy price in any new exchange deal.”
Abu Obeida said in a televised statement on Tuesday evening, marking the fifth anniversary of Wafa al-Ahrar prisoner exchange deal, that the Palestinian people and prisoners would be surprised “when the time comes for the Brigades to reveal the entire truth on what the resistance has in store to obtain the freedom of prisoners.”
“The occupation is spreading lies, misleading its public and trying to evade the payment for the price of a new deal,” the spokesperson said, adding that the time will never be in favor of the enemy.
Abu Obeida stressed that Wafa al-Ahrar swap deal will not be the only deal, and it will be renewed again in the present and in the future.
More than 7,000 Palestinian prisoners are currently held in Israeli jails including hundreds of minors and women.
