The leadership of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the militant faction of Hamas, has expressed profound condolences to Hezbollah, their allies in the defense of Al-Aqsa, to the Lebanese populace, to the leaders of the Axis of Resistance, and to the broader community following the reported death of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, the esteemed jihadist leader Hassan Nasrallah.
On Friday, Nasrallah, alongside several of his compatriots, was martyred in a targeted assassination attributed to the “Zionist enemy” in the southern suburbs of Beirut. The incident resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the passing of a key jihadist leader who had long been a high-priority target for Israeli authorities. The statement praised Nasrallah’s tenure at the helm of Hezbollah, describing it as a period of significant advancement and increased resilience for the organization. The brigades highlighted his pivotal role in fostering a robust alliance with Palestinian resistance groups, particularly the Al-Qassam Brigades, and acknowledged his unwavering commitment to offering comprehensive support, guidance, and expertise to their efforts.
In a commemorative statement, it was highlighted that martyr leader Hassan Nasrallah is remembered for his unwavering support for the Palestinian cause during the “Al-Aqsa Flood Battle,” described as among the most sacred and noble conflicts in defense of Al-Aqsa and other holy sites. Nasrallah resolutely opposed any halt to backing Gaza, despite the significant sacrifices made by Lebanon and Hezbollah, including the loss of fighters and leaders. Ultimately, he offered his own life in solidarity with Al-Aqsa, uniting his sacrifice with those of Palestine’s martyrs and jihadist leaders. This act is hailed as a profound symbol of unity and brotherhood in the ongoing struggle to liberate Jerusalem.
In a statement, the organization expressed strong confidence that Hezbollah would surmount this significant loss, with capable leaders set to succeed the fallen martyr and carry on the legacy shaped by his and his comrades’ sacrifices. The enemy’s terrorist leadership, despite its current state of temporary triumph and escalated criminal activities, will ultimately confront the unavoidable demise at the hands of jihadists and the dedicated members of our nation.
