Al-Sadr’s works slipped into oblivion: Ayatollah Araki
Addressing the ceremony mounted for discussing the political views of Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki hailed the prominent religious face stressing many a work penned by Martyr Sadr neither had been introduced to people nor used in the society, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
According to the President of Iran top unity center, takes and thoughts of Seyyed Mohammad Baqer al-Sadr had faded into oblivion in religious seminaries while the theories proposed by him could be useful in economic arena.
In his line, the aforesaid proposals and views can delineate the justice related constructs and concepts and through such way Muslims “can approach economic and other arenas from religious perspective.”
The seminar of “Political Thoughts of Seyyed Mohammad Baqer al-Sadr” was held in Darosh Shafa Seminary with prominent religious clerics in attendance.
Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr was an Iraqi Shia cleric, philosopher, and ideological founder of the Islamic Dawa Party.
Muhammad Baqir Sadr has an especial attitude about the Quran and its relation to human life and reality. According to political theory of Baqir Sadr, there are foundations like oneness world view and being divinity of Existents on which the political theory established.
As for economic area, Sadr believes that the system of Islamic economy has a clear conflict with the system of capitalism. Progressing the technical phenomena and facilities of production, natural commen wealth is at a disposal of capitalists and determines peoples and private associations controlled the system of global economy.
In contrary, according to Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, the economic system of divine Islam doesn’t permit to determinate people to have disposal the facilities and natural sources.
