ARBAEEN: “Imam Hussain (pbuh) belongs to all humanity and not just Shi’a Muslims”

Arbaeen has become global, and it will become even more global in the future. This is the blood of Hussain ibn Ali (pbuh) that is boiling after the passage of 1,400 years! This blood will become fresher and more alive on a daily basis. This is the message of Ashura, which was issued from the throat of Imam Hussain and Zeinab al-Kubra (pbut) at the height of the time when they were alone! Today, this message has filled the whole world. Hussain (pbuh) belongs to humanity. We Shi’a are proud of being Imam Hussain’s followers, but Imam Hussain does not belong to just us. Islamic denominations, Shi’a and Sunni, are all standing under the flag of Imam Hussain. Even those who do not follow Islam participate in this walk, and this will continue, God willing. This is a great sign which is being shown by God, the Exalted. At a time when the enemies of Islam and the enemies of the Islamic nation are working against the Islamic nation with all kinds of weapons – using money, politics, and guns – all of a sudden, God, the Exalted, gives such greatness and significance to the walk for Arbaeen! This is one of God’s great signs. This is a sign of the divine will to help the Islamic nation. This shows that God, the Exalted, has willed to help the Islamic nation.
