Army Chief: Iran’s information dominance renders enemies passive
Iranian Army Chief Maj. Gen. Mohammad Hossein Bagheri said Thu. information dominance, unique and undiscoverable abilities of Iran’s Navy defense will keep enemies ‘passive’ and ‘wandering’.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Mohammad Hossein Bagheri made the remark in the opening ceremony of the 5th National Conference on Fast Crafts on Thursday in Tehran.
Bagheri noted the various threats ahead of the Islamic Republic and the long history of US hostility against the Iranian nation and establishment, adding these threats are for the most part sea-based.
The Army Chief highlighted the unique role and position of the Iranian Navy against sea-based threats, adding “what brings the enemies to the conclusion that the costs of a sea war with the Islamic Republic of Iran will not be worth it is our country’s deterrence power that they have felt in every fiber of their being.”
Maj. Gen. Bagheri deemed the domestically-manufactured fast crafts “miracle of IRGC’s Naval Forces” and a “culture”, praising the crafts for their agility, speed, stability, stealth, ease of use and maneuverability.
