Army unites carry out specific operations against terrorist dens in Idleb countryside

Damascus, SANA- Units of the Syrian armed forces operating in Idleb and Hama countryside, in cooperation with the friendly Russian Air Forces, carried out, over several days, qualitative operations, in response to the flagrant violation committed by the terrorist organizations on Malaga axis in the southern countryside of Idleb.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement Saturday that the armed terrorist organizations supported by some regional and international parties continue in launching repeated attacks on safe villages and towns and sites and points of the Syrian Arab Army adjacent to the de-escalation zones in the Idleb and Hama countryside, so Syrian – Russian forces carrid out qualitative operations in the aforementioned sites.

The Ministry added that the armed forces carefully monitored and followed -up the terrorists’ sites, movements, and locations of their deployment, along with their weapons and equipment, the forces targeted terrorist’s dens, fortifications, and many ammunition and weapons depots, through a series of intense and focused strikes using various means of fire, including several artillery and missiles, with the support of friendly Russian aviation.

The Ministry continued: the operations caused the destruction a large number of terrorist’s headquarters, operations rooms, and warehouses, including weapons, equipment, drones, and communications devices, in addition to destroying missile launchers and many cannons, launchers, and various mechanisms, leading to kill 111 terrorists, most of them belong to so-called “Ansar al-Tawhid” organization, which is affiliated to terrorist “Al-Qaeda” organization, and more than 80 others terrorists injured.
