Bahraini opposition face names trial of Sheikh Qassim ‘illegal’
The Israeli police forces shot and killed a 12-year-old Palestinian child Tuesday evening as clashes broke out in the town of al-Ram north of occupied Jerusalem. The Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed in a brief statement that the Palestinian child Muhye Muhammad Sidqi al-Tabbakhi, 12, was killed today evening by Israeli gunfire.
The victim was deliberately shot with a rubber bullet in his heart before being transferred to Palestine Medical Center in Ramallah where he was proclaimed dead. Clashes erupted after Israeli police raided the town of al-Ram amid heavy fire of rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas bombs into the community.
Earlier today, a 51-year-old Palestinian was declared dead after he has succumbed to injuries he sustained Monday by Israeli forces for allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack in al-Khalil. Israeli forces have come under repeated criticism for excessive use of force, as well as lethal methods of crowd control that often result in death or injury of protesters.
