According to the official Palestinian news outlet WAFA, which referenced local sources, Israeli forces reportedly discharged live ammunition at a 13-year-old individual named Ayman Nassar al-Haymouni on Friday evening. The incident occurred while he was in the Jabal Jawhar area, located south of al-Khalil, where he was visiting relatives. The gunfire struck the young boy in the chest.

A critically wounded individual was swiftly transported by medics from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) to Mohammad Ali al-Mohtaseb Hospital, where he tragically died from his injuries soon after arrival.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported the death of a 13-year-old, Rimas Omar al-Amori, who died from severe injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli forces.

A bullet struck the young girl in the abdomen and exited through her back. She was subsequently transported to Jenin Governmental Hospital, where medical authorities confirmed her death.

The lethal occurrences coincide with ongoing Israeli military operations in northern West Bank refugee camps, focusing specifically on Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas, marking the second month of sustained activities in these areas.

On Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in the company of military personnel, visited a residence within the Tulkarm refugee camp in Palestine. This visit followed closely on the heels of a similar appearance by Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz.

This directive comes in the wake of a recent string of incidents involving explosions that targeted buses in the suburbs of Bat Yam and Holon, located near Tel Aviv.

**Escalating Israeli Operations in West Bank Raise Concerns of ‘Genocidal Intent,’ Says Governor**

Recent intensification of Israeli military actions in the West Bank has been described by the region’s governor as signaling a ‘genocidal intent.’ This statement comes amid heightened tensions and ongoing clashes in the area, drawing international attention and sparking urgent calls for de-escalation. The situation has prompted widespread condemnation and appeals for both sides to seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

In a statement, Tulkarm Governor Abdullah Kmeil accused Israel of demonstrating “genocidal intent” through its plans to escalate military operations in the area, including the surrounding refugee camps in the occupied West Bank.

According to a report from the WAFA news agency, Kmeil has indicated that recent declarations by Israeli officials regarding plans to significantly boost military forces in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps are likely to lead to an escalation in extrajudicial killings, home demolitions, and the forced displacement of Palestinian residents.

A senior Palestinian official has urged the international community and human rights organizations to take action to safeguard Palestinians residing in the occupied West Bank, who have been subjected to military operations for 26 consecutive days.

Tensions have escalated significantly in the occupied West Bank, with the Health Ministry reporting that a minimum of 920 Palestinians have lost their lives and nearly 7,000 others have sustained injuries due to assaults by the Israeli military and unlawful settlers. These violent incidents have been ongoing since the Gaza conflict ignited on October 7, 2023.
