Belief in necessity of solidarity first step for Islamic unity
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Mojahedi, director of the Islamic Center of Imam Ali (AS) in Germany, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) hailed late Imam Khomeini (RA) as the initiator of Islamic Unity Week and stressed once all Muslims believe in necessity of unity, they will pursue ways for realization of that objective.
He called Islamic unity as a genuine demand referring to a 20-year span of efforts for solidarity in the Islamic Center of Germany where Muslims and non-Muslims have been invited to conferences on different Islamic occasions.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mojahedi added,” The reason for present massacres and bloodshed in the world of Islam is that we do not interpret Islam in a unity with other Muslims; hence, Muslims who marginalize unity play a role in current wars and bloodshed.”
He called all Muslims to take a step for preventing bloodshed of civilians because the current situation is due to lack of tactfulness among us (Muslims); therefore, foreign players in Muslim countries carry out these measures through Muslims and this plague must be prevented immediately.
