Brigadier general Yahya Saree, the popular figure of these days in the world news and the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, has since his appointment in 2018, managed to draw global attention to the resistance of the Yemenis and their support for the Palestinian people through his readings of statements and use of media for information dissemination.
According to Pars Today, a recent video of Yahya Saree has been circulating on social media, where he warns the United States and the Zionist regime against targeting Yemen, using a distinctive tone and language.
In the video, he addresses the U.S. and the Zionist regime, saying: “If the enemy has red lines, we do not have those red lines either; we will strike targets that neither the enemy, nor even the Yemeni people and other nations, could imagine.”
Users on social media describe him as the man with the beloved voice that enemies fear. A user named “Salwa Omar” on the social network X tweeted, referring to the tone and sound of the statements read by Yahya Saree: “This voice is unparalleled and extraordinary.”
Another user on the social network X, with the username “Bedouine,” tweeted about the enemies’ fear of Yahya Saree, saying: “America and Israel are terrified of Yahya Saree.”
Another user, “Seyed Mohammad Naghib,” also tweeted about the news Yahya Saree broadcasts from the battlefield, emphasizing the continuation of resistance against the oppressors, and wrote: “You are a true man my Yemeni brother; may God protect you.”
Who is Yahya Saree?
Yahya Saree was born in 1970 in the Saada province of Yemen and spent his childhood in a simple environment but under the influence of severe political and economic challenges in Yemen.
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in political science and has a strong interest in military sciences, which led him to join one of Yemen’s military institutions at a young age.
During this period, Yahya Saree received extensive training in military and administrative fields and, by demonstrating his talent and abilities, gradually rose through the ranks in the Yemeni army. These experiences formed the basis of his later successes in managing strategic operations and media relations.
With the outbreak of the Yemen war and the intensification of conflicts in 2015, Yahya Saree joined the ranks of Yemen’s armed forces and quickly became one of the prominent officers in the country’s military. Promoted to the rank of colonel, he was appointed head of the Psychological Warfare Division of Yemen’s armed forces in 2017.
In mid-2018, he was appointed as the director of the moral guidance department of the Yemeni Armed Forces and was promoted to the rank of brigadier general.
He holds a prominent position within the Ansarullah forces, and in 2018, Yemen’s Supreme Political Council appointed him as the official spokesperson for the armed forces.
This decision was made during one of the most critical periods in Yemen’s history, as the country faced the most intense attacks from the Saudi-led coalition. Yahya Saree’s appointment to this position reflected the Supreme Political Council’s complete confidence in his military and leadership capabilities
