Brave Yemeni Forces Launch New Counterattack on US Warships in Red Sea
The Yemeni Armed Forces have initiated an assault on the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier and its accompanying vessels in the northern Red Sea. This move comes as a response to ongoing US actions perceived as aggressive against Yemen and the resulting damage to its critical infrastructure.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen’s military, announced on Sunday morning that the prolonged operation consisted of orchestrated attacks by naval, drone, and missile forces.
He stated that the assault was a reaction to what was described as “US aggression” in Yemen. He highlighted that this marked the last such incident in a series that has persisted for four weeks, involving the use of cruise missiles and combat drones.
Yemeni naval forces reportedly launched a domestically-produced anti-ship missile, targeting a U.S. Navy supply ship as well as the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, according to Saree.
Yemen’s leadership, along with its citizens and armed forces, has expressed a steadfast commitment to defending the Palestinian nation, viewing it as a duty rooted in religious, moral, and humanitarian obligations.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Saree, declared that their operations against Israeli forces, which include disrupting navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas and targeting key military and strategic facilities, will persist until the hostilities in Gaza cease and the blockade is entirely lifted.
The recent operation was launched following an attack by Yemeni forces on an Israeli military installation in Tel Aviv, utilizing a Yafa-type drone.
In an official statement, the operation has been hailed as a triumph for the oppressed Palestinian community and a retaliatory measure against what is described as the continuing genocide in Gaza.
Reports indicate that Yemeni air defenses have successfully intercepted and brought down a Giant Shark F360 reconnaissance drone, which was allegedly engaged in hostile activities over the northwestern Sa’ada province.
