Breaking: Syrian Army captures another Lebanese border-crossing
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) – in cooperation with the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah (Party of God) – has secured another border-crossing into Lebanon at the village of Kafeer Yabous (var. Jdeidat Yabous) in the Qudsayah District. The loyalist forces were able to capture this border-crossing after fierce clashes with the Al-Qaeda linked “Al-Nusra Front” (Jabhat Al-Nusra) on Monday morning.
According to a military source, the capture of this border-village was imperative to the SAA’s contingency to obstruct all militants from entering the country via the Lebanese border. The source also added that a number of Al-Nusra Front militants were killed during the battle, including “’Abdullah Mansour Al-‘Adnani”, “IsHaq ‘Umar Moubussili”, “’Abdel-Aziz Jamaal ‘Izz al-Deen” and “Rifa’at ‘Abdel-Rahman ‘Issa”.
During a Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) bombardment in the Jobar District of the Rif Dimashq Governorate, a heavy bomb penetrated through the ground and unearthed a tunnel used by Jaysh Al-Islam (Army of Islam). Details from the tunnel area have yet to be revealed due to intense fighting taking place in its vicinity.
