Breaking: Syrian Army downs an Al-Qaeda drone in northern Idlib

The Syrian Arab Army’s 11th Tank Division has downed a reconnaissance drone belonging to the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” (Victory Front) at Brouma Farms (Mazra’a Al-Brouma) in the northern Syrian province of Idlib.

According to a military source, the drone was seen circling the 11th Division’s fortifications on the outskirts of Brouma Farms before it was downed by the soldiers in broad daylight.

This is the 3rd Jabhat Al-Nusra reconnaissance drone the SAA and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have downed in the vicinity of Brouma Farms in ten days; it is believed that the militant group is preparing for an offensive in the town of Brouma.
