Breaking: Syrian, Palestinian forces begin Yarmouk Camp offensive

Syrian Arab Army (SAA), alongside a large number of Palestinian fighters, launched their long-awaited Yarmouk Camp offensive.

Backed by heavy airstrikes from their Russian allies, the Syrian and Palestinian forces began the attack by storming the eastern axis of the Yarmouk Camp District this afternoon.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian and Palestinian forces have already managed to liberate several areas, including the buildings that overlook the Martyrs Graveyard near the Al-Taqadum neighborhood.

Intense clashes are now ongoing between the pro-government forces and Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists, as the former looks to retake this imperative district in Damascus’ southern corridor.
