Calls for general strike in Arab capitals to protest ‘israel’s’ war on Gaza

“Gaza is being starved, so let’s put pressure on our governments to stop the war and break the siege,” the initiative declared in a statement issued on its Facebook official page on Tuesday.

“Next Thursday will be a day of strike, and also a day to demonstrate in all public squares to demand an end to the siege (on Gaza),” it added.

A similar comprehensive strike took place in a number of Arab capitals and cities on November 12, in solidarity with Gaza and to demand an end to the ongoing Israeli massacres.
