Deir Ezzur: ISIL Terrorists Sustain Heavy Losses in Syrian Air Raids
The Syrian fighter jets pounded and destroyed ISIL’s military positions in Deir Ezzur province on Monday.
The Syrian air force hit hard the ISIL’s concentration centers in al-Rashidiya region and the surrounding areas of al-Thardah mountain to the South of the city of Deir Ezzur.
Meantime, the ISIL terrorists sustained heavy losses in Haweija Saker to the East of Deir Ezzur city in the Syrian army’s artillery missile attacks.
A convoy of ISIL military vehicles, loaded with weapons and ammunition, was targeted and completely destroyed by the Syrian Army’s shelling, informed sources said.
On Sunday, the Syrian army’s artillery and missile unit opened fire at a column of the ISIL cars carrying weapons and ammunition near al-Thardah mountain, which ended in destruction of the convoy and the killing or wounding of several militants.
In the meantime, the Syrian soldiers stormed the ISIL gathering in al-Roshdiyeh district in Deir Ezzur city and the village of Ayyash near the city, which claimed the lives of at least 15 militants.
The Syrian fighter jets, for their part, bombed the ISIL centers in al-Thardah and Ayyash, which not only inflicted a heavy death toll of the militants but pinned them down behind their defense lines.
Also on Saturday, the Syrian military forces continued to target ISIL’s concentration centers and gatherings in different parts of the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur, inflicting major casualties on the terrorists.
The Syrian army’s artillery units shelled the ISIL positions in the district of al-Roshdiyeh in Deir Ezzur city, the village of Ayyash in Western countryside of the city and in the surroundings of al-Thardah mountain in the Western side of the city, which not only claimed the lives of 15 terrorists but ended in destruction of their military hardware in large scale.
