Deputy foreign ministers of Iran, Iraq and Syria meet in Tehran
Deputy foreign ministers of Iran, Iraq and Syria held a trilateral meeting in Tehran on Wednesday to discuss the latest developments in the region.
During the meeting, the three diplomats referred to the end to aggression against Yemen and called for the resumption of national dialogue among all sides in Yemen.
They also underlined the responsibility of the aggressor to take immediate steps for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the impoverished country.
The Iranian, Iraqi and Syrian deputy foreign ministers further voiced concern over the activities of terrorist and Takfiri groups in the region and underlined the three countries’ resolve to combat extremism and violence.
They also described dialogue as the best solution for the problems existing within and between the countries in the region.
