Economic corruption worse than ISIL terrorism
Speaking at a press conference, the chairman of the Regulatory Commission of the Council of Iraq’s Najaf province quoted the revered source of emulation as emphasizing that those involved in economic corruption are worse than the ISIL terrorists.
In a meeting with Sam al-Zajrawi, the chairman of the Regulatory Commission of the Council of Iraq’s Najaf province, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani stressed upon the necessity of prosecuting and punishing those responsible for their role in the corruption affecting Iraq’s economy.
Speaking at a press conference, al-Zajrawi quoted the revered source of emulation as emphasizing that those involved in economic corruption are worse than the DAESH (ISIL) terrorists.
During the meeting, al-Zajrawi also presented cases of senior government officials involved in corruption and informed Ayatollah Sistani of the latest developments in regard to the cases.
