Eight Palestinian citizens were killed and several others sustained injuries, some critically, amid an ongoing Israeli military operation in Tulkarem, which commenced after midnight on Tuesday.

In a tragic incident yesterday evening, four young men lost their lives and several others sustained injuries following a drone strike by Israeli forces in the Tulkarem refugee camp, located in the northern West Bank, according to reports from media and medical sources.

Local sources have confirmed the identities of four individuals as martyrs: Muhaimen al-Akhras, Jum’ah Salem, Amran Haroun, and Qusay Okasha. These individuals have been recognized as resistance fighters hailing from the Tulkarem region.

In the afternoon, a drone attack in the Tulkarem refugee camp resulted in the deaths of two women and left three others injured, including a child, as reported by the Palestinian health ministry. The deceased have been identified as 53-year-old Khawla Abdo and 18-year-old Baraa Ali.

Earlier in the day, a separate drone strike in the Nur Sham refugee camp, situated within Tulkarem City, resulted in injuries to three civilians. Some of the injured have been reported to be in serious condition.

In the Nur Shams camp, authorities have discovered the body of a young male, identified as Mahmoud Mohamed, reportedly fatally wounded and left on a road. According to eyewitness accounts, the individual succumbed to injuries after allegedly being shot by an Israeli sniper.

In the early hours, an Israeli sniper fatally shot a teenager named Fathi Obeid in the al-Hadayda neighborhood of the Tulkarem refugee camp.

In the early hours of Tuesday, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Israeli Defense Forces entered the Tulkarem refugee camp, enacting a comprehensive lockdown. The forces maintained a significant presence throughout the camp’s thoroughfares and positioned multiple snipers atop surrounding high-rise structures, leading to open fire on any perceived movement or individual.

In a recent operation, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) bulldozers commenced the demolition of various infrastructures, including roads, walls, vehicles, and commercial establishments. Additionally, they obstructed the primary entrance of the camp by creating barriers composed of earth and rocks.

The Israeli Occupation Forces’ actions in demolishing roads and infrastructure have reportedly resulted in damage to the camp’s electricity and water networks, as well as its internet and telecommunications services.

Later in the evening, the Israeli Occupational Forces (IOF) intensified their operations in Tulkarem, launching a raid on the city and its adjacent Nur Shams camp.

Resistance fighters from Tulkarem allegedly launched an attack on Israeli forces using explosive devices and gunfire. The incident occurred during an Israeli military operation in Tulkarem and its surrounding refugee camps.
