Enemies concerned over Shia, Sunni unity: cleric

Ayatollah Mostafa Olama, prayer leader of Kermanshah noted the agitation of enemies over unity of Shia and Sunni Muslims warning of the all-out efforts of the enemies to weaken Islam and divide Muslims from different denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He called maintaining Islamic unity is a necessity for the Islamic Revolution and Islam urging all Shia and Sunni scholars to protect the younger generation against ideological and cultural invasions of the enemies.

“Daesh terrorists were beaten in Syria and Iraq due to the solidarity of the people” said the scholar calling for valuing the unity among all Muslims.

Senior religious figure stressed necessity of standing against enemies through informing the youths of hostile invasions and foiling their plots.
