Epic battle footage shows the Syrian Army’s thrust into ISIS areas of Raqqa

Stepping up the ante in the battle against ISIS, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has now advanced a total of 60 kilometers on the western Raqqa front, thus striking deep inside ISIS heartland.

The latest confirmed government advance is the capture of Sfaiyeh crossroad, a junction leading directly north to Tabqa Airbase.
