Fierce clashes break-out in northwest Aleppo

A series of intense clashes broke-out in the northwestern sector of Aleppo City, today, following an attack by the jihadist rebels on the Al-Zahra’a Association Quarter.

According to local reports, the majority of the clashes took place near the Great Prophet Mosque, which is located at the western part of the Al-Zahra’a Quarter.

The firefights are currently ongoing at the moment, with the jihadist rebels remaining on the offensive.
