The health ministry has reported that the Israeli army’s actions in various parts of Gaza over the past 24 hours have resulted in significant civilian casualties. At least 51 individuals lost their lives, and 161 others sustained injuries and were subsequently hospitalized, according to official sources.
The health ministry reported a significant increase in casualties due to the Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks that commenced on October 7. The death toll has risen to 41,689, while the number of injured individuals has reached 96,625.
The Gaza Strip has faced intensive bombardment following a cross-border operation initiated by Hamas’s armed faction, the al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7, 2023.
In addition to the significant loss of life and widespread displacement of residents, essential supplies of food, fuel, water, and medical provisions have been depleted for Gaza’s 2.3 million inhabitants. This dire situation is attributed to the stringent Israeli blockade and extensive devastation of infrastructure and facilities.
