Great Satan US and close ally UK conduct airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, as well as other regions
The United States and the United Kingdom have initiated a series of airstrikes targeting sites within the Yemeni capital province of Sana'a and additional locations throughout Yemen. This military response comes as a reaction to Yemen's recent operations directed against Israel.
Yemen’s al-Masirah television network, quoting an unnamed security official, reported a series of four airstrikes on the Jarban area within the Sanhan district of Sana’a province. These incidents occurred early Sunday morning.
Military aircraft from the United States and the United Kingdom conducted operations targeting a specific site in the Haffa region of the province. Additional information regarding the incident has yet to be disclosed.
Shortly thereafter, two aerial assaults targeted the Harf Sufyan district in Yemen’s northwestern province of ‘Amran. Initial reports have not confirmed any casualties or damage resulting from the attacks.
These developments come in the wake of a coordinated airstrike carried out by the United States and the United Kingdom targeting a location in the al-Garrahi district, situated in the western Hudaydah province, mere hours ago.
The Yemeni populace has expressed unequivocal support for Palestine in its ongoing conflict with Israeli forces, following the initiation of a severe assault on Gaza by Israel on October 7 of the previous year. This offensive has so far resulted in the deaths of at least 43,552 Palestinians.
The Yemeni armed forces have announced their intention to persist with offensive operations until Israel ceases its ground and aerial assaults in Gaza. Since the onset of the Israeli military campaign in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Yemeni forces have reportedly engaged over 90 vessels associated with Israel using missiles and drones.
The Ansarullah resistance movement has declared its focus on targeting vessels associated with Israel, the United States, or the United Kingdom as a strategy to compel the cessation of what it describes as the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal actions in Gaza.
In October, the United States military deployed B-2 stealth bombers to conduct airstrikes in Yemen, as part of operations supporting Israeli efforts.
