Great Satan US carried out airstrikes in Syria out of desperation

An analyst believes the United States is “in a desperate state” in Syria because the Syrian army has made remarkable gains in its fight against foreign-backed militants, adding that Washington is trying to turn the events by carrying out airstrikes in the war-torn Arab country. 

“It is quite clear that the US is in a desperate state. They have backed the wrong side in Syria, they have backed the rebels who they have been pumping money to. In fact they are strongly likely to have been the initial instigators of the problems in Syria … Now in Douma we are seeing the actual end of most of that exercise sponsored by the US, provoked by Israel and they are desperate to see how they can turn that around,” Syed Mohsin Abbas told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.
