Hamas calls on Muslims and Arabs to surround ‘israeli’ and US embassies in a bid to stop the conflict in Gaza

A representative from the Palestinian Hamas movement has urged Arabs and Muslims globally to surround Israeli and American embassies in a bid to stop what they describe as Israel's genocidal actions against Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip.

According to Al Jazeera’s report on Sunday, Khalil Al-Hayya called for Arab and Islamic communities to encircle both Israeli diplomatic missions and American embassies.

He condemned the massacre in the Beit Lahiya project carried out by occupying forces, asserting that these acts should not be ignored and drawing a parallel to modern Nazism.

Israeli forces carried out an offensive in Beit Lahiya on Saturday evening, resulting in the deaths of at least 73 Palestinians.

Al-Hayya has asserted that the leadership of Israel, in conjunction with the United States, aims to displace Palestinians and assert dominance over the embattled territory.

He stated that Israel is conducting a systematic operation to displace residents in northern Gaza.

He criticized what he described as Israel’s continued efforts to eliminate the Palestinian population, singling out the so-called Generals’ Plan, which, he alleged, seeks to starve residents of Gaza.

He expressed skepticism regarding the occupation army’s capability to execute the Generals’ Plan, adding that the enemy’s claims of not attempting to implement it are false.

A senior Hamas representative has claimed that Israel is attempting to instill fear among Palestinians in an effort to drive Gaza residents from their homes.

He stated that the population in the Gaza Strip will not comply with the Israeli military’s strategy to evacuate them from the area.

“It is imperative to underscore the historical responsibility individuals and entities hold regarding the massacres perpetrated by occupying forces.”

‘Israeli Cruelty Intensified by Muslim Silence, Experts Suggest’

Izzat al-Resheq, a prominent figure in the Hamas political bureau, has castigated the Muslim community, asserting that their lack of response to alleged Israeli transgressions has emboldened leaders in Tel Aviv to adopt increasingly harsh measures.

Al-Resheq also highlighted the recent assault by Israeli forces on Beit Lahiya, which resulted in the deaths of at least 73 individuals.

A senior Hamas representative stated that if Israeli interests were persistently threatened in response to the regime’s actions, the leadership in Tel Aviv would have been more cautious and possibly averted the tragic violence recently witnessed in Beit Lahyia, located in northern Gaza.

Al-Resheq stated that the Zionist regime acts with unchecked aggression, and suggested that its violent actions will persist until it is confronted with forceful resistance.

Since October 2023, the conflict in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the deaths of at least 42,519 Palestinians and left 99,637 others injured, a majority of whom are reported to be women and children.
