Hamas claims resilience to ‘israeli’ assassination efforts amid ongoing genocide by the barabaric ‘israeli’ regime
A senior spokesperson for Hamas has asserted that the resistance movement maintains deep roots in Palestine and will remain unaffected by the targeted assassinations of its leaders by Israel.

Sami Abu Zuhri issued a statement on Monday following the killing of four members of Hamas’s political bureau by Israeli forces. This incident occurred in under a week since Israel resumed its military operations in the Gaza Strip.
The targeted killings occurred following Israel’s unilateral decision to breach a tenuous ceasefire agreement that had been in place with Hamas for two months, leading to lethal airstrikes launched over the Gaza Strip.
Abu Zuhri has accused the Israeli regime of exploiting the truce agreement to collect intelligence on Hamas officials with the intention of carrying out assassinations.
He emphasized that the lives of Hamas leaders and commanders are intertwined with those of the children and youth in Gaza, stating that targeted assassinations will not deter their continued commitment to the cause.
A spokesperson for Hamas has alleged that Israel is conducting frequent field executions in the blockaded region.
He described the ongoing situation in Gaza as significantly more devastating than the atrocities witnessed during the 15-month genocide.
On October 7, 2023, Israel commenced a military operation in Gaza. Despite significant casualty figures reported, with 50,082 Palestinians killed, predominantly women and children, and over 113,408 injured, the operation did not fulfill its stated aims.
The occupying entity has agreed to Hamas’s long-established negotiation terms as part of the three-stage Gaza ceasefire, initiated on January 19.
On March 18, Israel recommenced its extensive aerial strikes on Gaza, marking a clear breach of the ceasefire agreement.
According to recent reports, a minimum of 23 Palestinians, among them seven children, lost their lives in pre-dawn military operations and artillery shelling conducted by Israeli forces.
According to reports, the majority of the casualties have been reported in the southern and central regions of Gaza.
