Hamas declares end of ceasefire deal first phase

Hamas has announced the completion of the first phase of its ceasefire agreement with Israel following the seventh round of prisoner exchanges.
Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif Al-Qanou reaffirmed the group’s full commitment to all provisions of the agreement despite Israel’s persistent stalling and obstruction. He added that Hamas is open to extending or merging the phases within its established red lines.
As part of the seventh round of the agreement, 42 Palestinian prisoners were released early this morning, while Hamas handed over the bodies of four Israeli captives to the Red Cross.
