Hamas’ Osama Hamdan Affirms Deif’s Safety, Vows Surprises for Israeli Forces in West Bank
Senior Hamas official in Lebanon, Osama Hamdan, confirmed that the group’s top military commander, Mohamamd Deif, is alive and fine, refuting for the second time claims by the Israeli occupation regime that it had killed the shadowy leader of Hamas’ armed wing.
In an upcoming interview with Al Jazeera Net, Hamdan addressed Israeli occupation claims of successfully assassinating Deif, stating, “Commander Deif remains in his position, fulfilling his role as a resistance leader. All the rumors have not hindered him, and he continues to carry out his duties.”
“Despite more than 330 days of fighting, neither Deif nor his soldiers have lost their resolve or weakened their determination,” Hamdan added.
Surprises Await Zionist Forces in West Bank
Regarding ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, Hamdan told Al Jazeera Net that no new initiatives are necessary, as previous attempts have failed due to a lack of assurance that Israel would accept any of them.
He also hinted at surprises in the West Bank that Israel won’t expect, saying they will “drive the final nails into its coffin.”
Hamdan further noted that the United States is not exerting real pressure on Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept American proposals, which Hamas had already agreed to.
