Hamas pledges a “flood of martyrdom operations” in zionist-occupied cities following Gaza developments
The military arm of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, known as the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, has issued a video statement pledging a series of "martyrdom operations" against Israel in response to the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip, which they described as a "river of blood."
The Brigades commemorated the landmark Operation Al-Aqsa Storm initiated by Hamas against Israeli forces in October of the previous year.
“A combatant declared resolutely, ‘You have sparked an unquenchable fire that will not cease until we drive you from our homeland. We are prepared to face you with fatal certainty. The blaze you have started will engulf you and become a curse upon you, your settlers, and your military.’”
The militant issued a stern warning, declaring that each day of aggression against the Gaza population will exponentially increase the toll of bloodshed and retribution. “There will be no exchange for blood except for blood,” the fighter proclaimed. The suffering endured by our detainees, particularly our female prisoners in oppressive jails, will not go unanswered.”
He highlighted the significant challenges confronted by Palestinian women incarcerated in Israeli prisons, noting a rise in violations against female detainees. This increase in reported abuse, mistreatment, and worsening conditions underscores the unprecedented hardships they endure.
A member of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades issued a stark warning to their adversaries, declaring that the bloodshed in Gaza would be reciprocated with a surge of martyrdom operations, intent on disrupting the enemy’s stability domestically. The fighter described the conflict as a decisive struggle with outcomes of either victory or martyrdom.
On October 7, Israel launched an aggressive, US-supported military campaign in Gaza following Hamas’s initiation of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. This act by Hamas was a response to what they described as escalating Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian population.
Nearly a year has passed since the onset of what many describe as genocidal aggression by the Tel Aviv regime, yet its declared aims of “destroying Hamas” and locating Israeli captives remain unmet. This period of conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 41,252 Palestinians, including a significant number of women and children, and left 95,497 others injured.
