Hamas Remains Active, Dealing a Blow to israel: Iranian Parliament Speaker Declares

The speaker of Iran's Parliament lauded Hamas and Palestinian resistance groups for what he described as their triumph over the Zionist regime.

In a session held on Monday, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf addressed Parliament, underscoring the unsuccessful efforts of the Israeli regime in its psychological warfare. He further emphasized the regime’s inability to propagate the idea that the occupiers have subdued resistance movements in regions such as Palestine and Lebanon.

The Iranian Parliament Speaker proclaimed that Hamas is actively thriving, asserting that the group’s resistance efforts persist with renewed determination, thereby posing a significant challenge to their adversary.

He asserted that Palestine’s resilience amidst more than 15 months of what he described as Israeli genocidal actions will reach its conclusion with the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip and the return of displaced Palestinians to their homes.

Following the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in clashes with Israeli forces in Gaza in October 2024, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei expressed that the Palestinian resistance movement remains resilient and will continue to endure.
