Hamas: The Liberation battle is near
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on Monday hailed the Jerusalemite people for their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli systematic Judaization schemes in Occupied Jerusalem.
In a statement marking the 48th anniversary of the arson attack on al-Aqsa Mosque by the extremist Michael Rohan, the Movement said that the Mosque is still at risk because of the Israeli ceaseless attacks.
The Movement praised the support shown by Jerusalemites and Palestinians of the 1948 occupied territories, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip to al-Aqsa Mosque recently, stressing the importance of national unity in protecting the holy site and defending the Palestinian cause.
Hamas called on the Arab and Muslim nations to shoulder their responsibilities toward al-Aqsa Mosque and not to engage in any normalization projects with Israel.
Hamas affirmed that the continuing Israeli crimes will not deter the Palestinian people from defending their land and holy sites, adding that the Palestinian resistance will continue and that the liberation battle is closer than ever.
