Hamas and the Mujahideen Movement have issued strong condemnations following an Israeli ground incursion into southern Syria, denouncing it as a breach of Syrian sovereignty and an act of aggression towards Arab and Islamic countries.
On Wednesday, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, released a statement denouncing what it described as “criminal Israeli aggression” on Syrian soil. The statement also condemned Israel’s ground incursion into the countryside regions of Daraa and Quneitra.

The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s recent military actions in Syria. They emphasized the continued airstrikes on southern Damascus and the occupation of additional regions as a “clear breach of Syrian sovereignty and a significant threat to the territorial integrity of Syria.”
The movement has characterized the continued offensive as a continuation of what it describes as the ongoing Zionist-American conflict against their nation, aimed at undermining its capabilities and existence.
The movement has highlighted the recent Israeli military actions as a direct assault on the Syrian people’s land and resources, asserting that these actions underscore the Zionist state’s immediate threat to the broader region and its diverse communities. They have called for a collective response to what they describe as ongoing aggression against the Arab world.
The Mujahideen Movement has issued a call to the Ummah, urging them to consolidate their forces and unify against what it describes as its main adversary, the Zionist Israeli entity and its supporters. Additionally, the group has appealed to Arab and Islamic nations to adopt a firm stance in response to the persistent Israeli incursions and violations.
Local sources in Syria reported on Wednesday that Israeli forces destroyed a number of military barracks associated with the Syrian army during operations in the rural areas of Daraa and Quneitra.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces reportedly advanced into towns located in Syria’s Quneitra countryside and the Daraa governorate, according to a report from Al Mayadeen’s correspondent.
The overnight offensive was marked by a concentrated aerial assault hitting regions in Daraa, Suwayda, Quneitra, and the outskirts of Damascus.
Israeli drones have been observed flying over the Quneitra province, according to reports from our correspondent.
According to sources cited by Al Mayadeen, Israeli aircraft conducted airstrikes on the al-Kiswah region and subsequently flew over Damascus. Additionally, our correspondent reported the occurrence of at least six significant explosions in the Suweida countryside.
In a significant military maneuver, Israeli armored units have progressed towards the village of al-Bakkar, situated in the western rural region of Daraa in southern Syria. Concurrently, Israeli forces have also made incursions into the village of Ain al-Bayda, located in the northern outskirts of Quneitra.

Sources from Al Mayadeen reported that Israeli military aircraft conducted airstrikes on a former Syrian military installation located in Izraa, situated in the eastern rural area of Daraa in southern Syria.
Earlier today, a demonstration took place at Umayyad Square in Damascus, where participants denounced recent Israeli military actions in southern Syria and expressed opposition to any attempts to divide the nation.
Demonstrators urged Ahmed al-Sharaa, the leader of Syria’s transitional government, to launch a retaliatory attack on Tel Aviv following Israeli airstrikes targeting southern Syria.
Simultaneously, reports from Israeli media indicate that Israeli aircraft conducted strikes on and obliterated military infrastructure and weapons stockpiles previously utilized by the former Syrian regime. Additionally, a Syrian Arab Army camp situated in the eastern countryside of Daraa in southern Syria was reportedly subjected to bombing.
