Hezbollah launches series of rocket barrages at ‘israeli’ positions as sirens ring out across northern occupied areas

A barrage of rockets was launched from Lebanon targeting northern regions of Israeli-occupied territories, triggering alarm sirens throughout the area.

The Israeli military reported that 35 rockets were launched towards the occupied Golan Heights and the al-Jalil region on Monday, with numerous impacts confirmed.

According to reports from Israeli media, sirens were activated in the settlements of Rosh Hanikra and Shlomi due to rocket fire.

The incident occurred amidst rising tensions following Israel’s assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the longstanding leader of the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah, in an airstrike targeting southern Beirut.

According to reports, a squad of Israeli F-15I fighter jets, armed with US-provided bunker-busting munitions, executed the terrorist attack.

The event occurred at the height of Israel’s aggressive actions and violence in Lebanon, following the regime’s initiation of its war in the Gaza Strip.

In a recent address on Monday, Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah, accused Israel of perpetrating massacres and crimes against Lebanese civilians, asserting that these actions are being fully backed by the United States.

He reaffirmed Hezbollah’s commitment to opposing the occupying regime, asserting confidently, “We will emerge victorious.”

Amidst the ongoing conflict and despite the assassination of prominent figures, including the targeted leader Hassan Nasrallah, a representative declared, “Our presence remains steadfast on the battlefield, enduring relentless assaults against Lebanon’s civilian population.”

“We remain resolute and will persist in our Islamic resistance. Our commitment to confronting the Israeli adversary remains unwavering in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza, as well as in the defense of our Lebanese compatriots.”
