Hezbollah, Syrian Troops Advance in Damascus Countryside
The Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance forces on Tuesday regained control of Major buildings in Damascus countryside, Al-Alam News Network reports.
The Syrian army troops, in cooperation with Hezbollah fighters and popular defense groups, regained control over 11 buildings in North and East of al-Zabadani city.
The forces continued to advance towards the city center, and killed tens of terrorists.
On Monday, the Syrian army and Hezbollah forces killed two terrorist leaders during military operations in al-Zabadani city.
Sources identified the two terrorists as Abdullah Ahmad Abdullah, the leader of the “Western neighborhood sector” terrorist group in the city, and Omar Ahmad Hamdan, who was in charge of manufacturing explosives in the “Hamza Bin Abdulmutaleb Battalions” terrorist group.
The army troops and Hezbollah fighters also regained control over more buildings in the Western neighborhood and al-Zahra’a area West of al-Abadan city center.
The terrorists groups confirmed on their social media pages the death of a number of their members, including Abdo Daher al-Tal, Omar Adnan Hamdan, Abdelrazzq al-Tal, and Malek Mahmoud Kharita, in al-Abadan.
The strategic town of Zabadani is located 45 kilometers to the Northwest of the city of Damascus in the Southern parts of Al-Qalamoun region.
