Hezbollah: US, UK towards Yemen as a “desperate attempt” to hinder backing for Palestine
The Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah has issued a strong condemnation of recent US-UK actions against Yemen, labeling them as a clear breach of international law. The movement described the actions as a "desperate attempt" to thwart the steadfast Yemeni population from backing Palestine.

In a statement released on Sunday, Hezbollah responded following a series of US and British airstrikes targeting multiple locations within the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, and other areas across the nation. These military actions resulted in numerous casualties, with dozens of people, among them women and children, reported killed and injured.
In what has been described as a desperate attempt to dissuade a nation from its continued support of the Palestinian people, recent acts of aggression have aimed to undermine ongoing efforts to lift the blockade on Gaza. The move seeks to obstruct the delivery of essential humanitarian and relief aid to the region, officials stated.
The Lebanese resistance movement stated that the “targeting of civilians and crucial infrastructure in Yemen once again reveals the true, harsh reality of the US government’s actions.”
Hezbollah has intensified its criticism of the US-British military operations in Yemen, categorizing them as “war crimes” and “flagrant breaches of international laws and norms.” The group emphasized that these actions are consistent with the Israeli regime’s assaults on Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, reportedly conducted with support from Washington.
The Yemeni population, known for its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause through sacrifices and solidarity with the people of Gaza, remains steadfast in confronting the ongoing aggression.
The Lebanese resistance group praised the Yemeni population for their unwavering spirit, highlighting their sacrifices in support of the Palestinian cause and the people of Gaza.
