Homs governor says locals are streaming back to al-Hosn town, vows restoration of services soon
Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi said that the locals of al-Hosn town in Homs are beginning to return after the army swept the town for explosives and mines that terrorists left behind.
The governor was speaking during a festival organized in al-Hosn town on Thursday celebrating the locals’ return.
Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, the governorate has been in the process of months-long diligent work to ensure the return of the displaced to their homes, the governor said.

Service workshops have started to rehabilitate some infrastructures and work is underway to provide all requirements that the locals need for their return, he added.
Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party in Homs Subhi Harb praised the heroism of the Syrian army thanks to which the locals are now returning to their homes with dignity, applauding the unique social fabric that distinguishes the region.

Locals interviewed by SANA went into raptures as they spoke about having the opportunity to finally return to their localities, vowing to work hand in hand to rebuild.
