A humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 16 trucks carrying food, medical supplies and furniture items arrived in the town of Saraqeb in Idleb province on Saturday.
The convoy is organized by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) with the help of UN offices in Syria.
Idleb Governor Safwan Abu Saadi asserted that the Governorate will spare no effort to provide citizens’ needs across the province, noting that the humanitarian aid provided by the government in 2013 amounts to over SYP 97 billion.
Head of the SARC branch in Idleb Maamoun Kharbout asserted that similar convoys will be sent to other areas, and that this process will continue.
