Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei: Cutting economic ties with Israel least Islamic states can do
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has once again called on Islamic states to cut economic ties with Israel, saying that this is the least they can do.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian officials, ambassadors of Islamic countries to Iran, and the participants of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference on Saturday.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and the 6th Shia Imam Hazrat Ja’far al-Sadiq (AS).
“If the Islamic Ummah uses its inner strength, the Zionist regime will be removed from the heart of the Islamic community,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in his remarks, adding that one of the greatest lessons that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught Muslims is the formation of the Islamic Ummah. “The Islamic world needs this lesson today,” he stressed.
Referring to the Israeli regime’s barbaric crimes in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Lebanon, the Leader states that the inner strength of Islamic countries can lead to the elimination of the Zionist regime and the removal of the US influence and interference in the region.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated his call on the Islamic states to cut economic ties with Tel Aviv, saying that cutting economic relations with the Israeli regime is the least the Islamic countries can do. “This must be done,” he emphasized.
